Rock Climbing Technique

If you are thinking about getting into rock climbing or are new to the sport, there are a few things that you should know right out of the gate to help make your climbs easier and more enjoyable. I know it is exciting to enter the world of rock climbing and look upĀ  that the wall at your local gym but you will quickly learn that this sport is not about brute strength. Rock climbing will no doubt make you stronger and that will come with time but the people that seem to move up or across the wall effortlessly rely on technique more than strength. Technique is something that should be practiced early in your climbing adventures and often as any skilled climber will tell you they are always working to perfect theirs. The endless challenges and new routs is part of what makes climbing so exciting.
